Shipping At FerretWare we treat our customers as we would like to be treated if we were the customer. Our shipping charges are probably the fairest you will ever find. Whenever possible we charge the exact cost of US Priority Mail for your package, in some cases the cost will actually be more than estimated, and we pay the difference. No ugly surprises! The shipping cost that is calculated for your online order by our shopping cart software should be considered the maximum you will be charged—in many cases, especially with jewelry orders, the actual charge will be less! Handling Years ago I attended a mail order business seminar and learned that “handling” is considered to be the most profitable part of a mail order business. Personally, I am insulted by “handling” fees—stores don’t charge extra for a clerk to take your money, bags are provided as part of the purchase, etc. The time spent packing your order, boxes, packing material, etc. is all considered part of doing business and you shouldn’t be charged for this. Remember, these are MAXIMUM shipping charges. If actual shipping is less, then the lower charge applies. International Orders Outside the U.S.A, we will compute the actual airmail charge and notify you before we process the order. Sales Tax Applies to California addresses only. |
